My name is Steven Farkas and I'm running for Congress in the second Congressional district of New Jersey. I'm running because I believe ordinary people have the right and should have the power to govern themselves. I want to run a campaign that appeals to poeple's hopes and dreams, not one that plays on their fears and anxieties. In short I want a campaign about more than just getting elected. I want a campaign about protecting our values and investing in ourselves and our children. I want to reach out with a strong grassroots effort to involve those in this district who want a better more responsive government as well as real representaion, not a big money candidate who is bought and paid for by corporations and special interests.
